Players to Watch Out For in Under 19 World Cup

Players to watch out for :

New Zealand is all set to host ICC under 19 Cricket World Cup, which begins from 13th January 2018. Each edition of under 19 world cup has unearth some exciting fresh talents who are now a crucial part of senior national team. Kagiso Rabada from the 2014 edition, Alzarri Joseph, Risabh Pant from 2016 edition are some names among them.

Here we bring to you players to watch out for in this year’s edition of  U-19 World Cup 2018:


Shubham Gill (India)

The Punjab born cricketer has recently made his First Class cricket Debut and scored 245 runs in 4 innings. He will play at number 3 slot and hold the Important key in the Indian batting line-up.


Shaheen Afridi (Pakistan)

 The left arm swing bowler, Shaheen has the experience of playing in the Bangladesh Premier League at the early age of 17. Conditions in New Zealand will be perfect for swing bowling and He will be a threat to all opening batters.


Will Jacks (England)

A right handed aggressive batsman holds the key of England middle order. Apart from his batting, he is a handy off- break bowler also, who can contribute with the ball also, when required.


Mujeeb Zadran (Afghanistan)

All eyes will on Mujeeb who has recently made his International debut in senior Afghanistan side against Ireland. He claimed 4 wickets with his leg-spin bowling and was man of the match in his just 2nd International match.


Will Sutherland (Australia)

Son of Australian cricket chief selector, James Sutherland, Will is a fast bowling allrounder who has recently made his list a debut for Victoria side. He will lead the Australian pace attack and is also a neat striker of cricket ball.


Afif Hussain (Bangladesh)

Afif is coming off from successful stint in the Bangladesh Premier League with Khulna Titans. He is an aggressive left handed batsman who likes to go after the bowlers. He is a handy left arm orthodox bowler, who can bowl some quick overs in match, when needed.
