Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kolkata Knight Riders Preview

IPL 2018, 29th Match, Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Kolkata Knight Riders

Sunday, 29th April, Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru

Match Preview :

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru host the Kolkata Knight Riders in an 8pm fixture here at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

Both the teams are coming into this game with loses on their backs. Royal Challengers Bengaluru humbled by Chennai Super Kings whereas as the Kolkata Knight Riders took a hammering from Delhi Daredevils.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru, though they lost their last game, had lot of positives to from the last game. Their batting looked like in very good touch in their last game against Chennai. AB de Villiers is in outstanding form, Quinton de Kock came back to some hitting form. However, it’s their bowling that’s causing problems to them, for quite sometime now. For them to win matches they need to do something to their bowling unit to give them any chance to win games.

The Kolkata Knight Riders look a strong side on paper and ground, but they’ve been massacred by some serious hitting by Shreyas Iyer. Kuldeep Yadav, Sunil Narine were taken to cleanest in their last game but they wish to forget that and move on. The batting as always looks strong with Chris Lynn & Sunil Narine opening, followed by Robin Uthappa and Nitish Rana. Shivam Mavi would want to forget his last match and move on. The Kolkata Knight Riders may not change their team much for this fixture.

Head to Head :

Royal Challengers Bengaluru 9 – 12 Kolkata Knight Riders is the score line between these teams in IPL history. At Chinnaswamy the record is even with 4 wins to each side.
