Kolkata Knight Riders vs Sun Risers Hyderabad Preview

IPL 2018, 10th Match, Kolkata Knight Riders vs Sun Risers Hyderabad

Saturday, April 14, 2018, Eden Gardens, Kolkata

Match Preview:

After a tough outing in Chennai, The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are now back to their home ground to host the Sun Risers Hyderabad (SRH) on Saturday (April 14). Play starts at 08:00 pm IST at the Eden Gardens.

Sun Risers are coming into this game with two back to back wins at their home ground. They have defeated Rajasthan Royals in a one-sided affair and later managed to win a last over thriller against Mumbai Indians.

On the other hand, hosts Kolkata Knight Riders have defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore in their first game before losing the last over thriller to Chennai Super Kings in a high scoring game in Chennai.

Manish Pandey, Yousuf Pathan and Shakib al Hasan all played for KKR in the previous seasons and they are now playing for SRH in the ongoing season. It is going to be very interesting to watch them play against their previous team.

Vinay Kumar might not find a place in the playing XI with the poor form he is in. He has conceded 65 runs in his 3.5 overs across two games picking up 2 wickets.

Head to Head Record:

Kolkata Knight Riders and Sun Risers Hyderabad have played 12 games against each other in this tournament in which KKR won 8 games and SRH won the remaining 4 games. This stat is completely in favor of the home team.

Favorites to win:

Sun Risers Hyderabad have a poor record away from home and looking at the past head to head record, Kolkata Knight Riders have all the chances to win this game. Also, KKR has defeated RCB at the same ground on earlier in this ongoing season.
