India vs Sri Lanka 3rd ODI
December 17th 1.30PM IST
Dr. YSR Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam
India head into the final game of the three-match series on the back of Rohit Sharma’s double-hundred. The momentum is with India and they will feel confident of being able to close out this series with a win on a spin-friendly surface.
Kuldeep Yadav is tipped to come back into the Indian line-up in place of youngster Washington Sundar who missed training due to illness.
India hasn’t had everything their own way this tour and Sri Lanka will be hungry for their first ODI series win in India. The enigmatic Angelo Matthews is the lynchpin for Sri Lanka. With scores of 25* and 111* the allrounder will need a few of his teammates to bat around him.
The major concern for Sri-Lanka will be their bowling unit. In the last ten overs of the second match, Sri Lanka conceded 147 runs.
While India has one eye on the tour to Sri-Lanka, Rohit Sharma will be wanting to close out this series with a victory. Dinesh Karthik and Manish Pandey will both be looking for a big performance to close out 2017.
